To include a sound knowledge in Engineering along with realised social responsibilities to enable the students to combat the current and impending challenges faced by our country and to extend their expertise to the global arena.

Mechanical engineeringis the application of physical principles to the creation of useful devices, objects and machines. Department has a central workshop facility having various Sections: Machining Section, Carpentry section, Smithy section, Foundry section, Welding section, Plumbing section. The workshop is Equipped with following machines: Lathe, Radial drilling Machine, Shearing Machine, Power Hack saw, to provide exposure and training to the students. The faculty members experienced having expertise in Design /Thermal/Industrial /Production and are engaged in research work.

To bridge the gap between the academics and industry students are taken for industrial visits to gain a practical exposure about the company’s practices. Also Industry Institute Interaction programming frequent Guest lectures are arranged with professional specialists as resource persons from various universities, reknowned institutions and companies.
